Sustainability is not a side chapter of our story — it is the axis of our next product generation. Under the European Norte 2030 programme we are developing two upholstery lines that replace conventional industry materials with certified foams, recycled textiles and responsibly sourced wood.
Soft Life
A residential comfort collection built on certified foams, recycled textiles and FSC controlled-origin timber in the frames.
Ecoluxe
Our answer to regulated luxury markets, where environmental credentials are a contractual prerequisite: biodegradable fabrics, plant-based leathers and low-footprint logistics.

Fábrica do Sofá B.A. has been approved as a beneficiary of the European competitiveness and regional development programme through the EDIF project — eco-design of interior furniture. Total R&D and modernisation investment of €1.2M.

Smart machinery, traceable processes and continuous training for our cutting, sewing and upholstery teams. The internal energy transition runs alongside the material one.
Circular economy
Reupholstering extends the life of a sofa instead of sending it to landfill. Our restoration and reupholstery service gives new frames, fillings and covers to family sofas, design pieces and hospitality furniture.
