Privacy Policy
Fábrica do Sofá Brás Bessa Alves, Unipessoal Lda. ('Fábrica do Sofá') is committed to protecting the privacy and personal data of website visitors, in compliance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and applicable legislation.
Data collected
We collect only what is necessary to handle your enquiry: name, email, phone and company (if applicable), as well as the content of the message you send through the contact form. If you reached us through an advertisement or a link carrying campaign parameters, the enquiry travels with that origin data — click identifiers (gclid, wbraid, gbraid, msclkid), UTM parameters, landing page and referring site — so we know which campaign produced the contact. It is kept in your browser on the basis of your advertising consent and stops being kept as soon as you withdraw it.
Purpose
Data is used solely to answer your enquiry, prepare commercial proposals and meet legal and tax obligations.
Legal basis
Contact form data is processed to take steps at your request prior to a contract (Article 6(1)(b) GDPR) and, where applicable, to comply with legal obligations (Article 6(1)(c)). Analytics and advertising cookies, and the measurement that depends on them, rely solely on your consent (Article 6(1)(a)), which you may withdraw at any time.
Google Analytics 4, Google Ads and Consent Mode v2
With your consent we use Google Analytics 4 for site usage statistics and Google Ads to measure campaign conversions. Consent Mode v2 is implemented: until you accept, analytics and advertising storage stay denied, advertising identifiers are redacted and Google sets no cookies. If you accept advertising cookies and submit the form, your email address is passed to Google in hashed form (SHA-256, Enhanced Conversions) solely to match the request to the corresponding campaign. Processors
We use providers that process data on our behalf and only on our instructions: Resend, to deliver the emails generated by the contact form, and Google, for audience and campaign measurement. We do not sell or share your data with third parties for their own purposes.
International transfers
Google and Resend may process data in the United States. Those transfers rely on the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework and, where applicable, on Standard Contractual Clauses approved by the European Commission.
Retention
We keep data for the minimum period needed to fulfil the purposes above, or as legally required (for example, tax data for 10 years).
Your rights
You may, at any time, request access, rectification, erasure, objection or portability of your data by writing to fabricadosofa@gmail.com. You may also withdraw your consent to analytics and advertising cookies at any time through the “Cookie preferences” button in the footer, and lodge a complaint with the Portuguese data protection authority (CNPD, www.cnpd.pt).
